Account Managers are responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals and overall objectives for assigned territory. You are measured by sales contacts, revenue generated, market expansion and ultimately annual renewal rates of your customers.

By demonstrating the value of local advertising to new and existing customers, through face-to-face contact you will service existing clients, sell new programs, protect and increase existing advertising, and minimize decreases and cancellations.

Managing a daily schedule of sales contacts, you will schedule, organize, and prioritize work to meet both customer and company goals and deadlines. Accuracy, consistency and organization are critical to your success.

Duties & Responsiblities:

Achieve annual revenue objectives through a combination of the following:

  • Building territory, ongoing maintenance and grow territory· accounts.
  • Cold-calling, prospecting and new account· development.
  • Day to day account management including client campaign· development and execution, reporting and follow-up.
  • Management of on-going account activities, including account· receivables and collections.
Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities –

  • Extensive prospecting and cold calling· skills.
  • Consultative/Solution-based selling experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self starter who works independently.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to email and access internet information
